Quality of Work Life
St. John’s Rehab Hospital is firmly committed to a high quality of work life for our staff and physicians.
Employee satisfaction is about more than simply providing people with a job and a salary. It's about providing people with a place where they feel accepted, wanted and appreciated.
The Quality of Work Life Committee (right) is a dedicated group that works to continuously improve and enhance quality of work life for their peers at the hospital.
Key areas of focus include:
- Rewards and recognition
- Promoting health and wellness
- Building teamwork and morale
- Providing staff with education needed to be at the forefront of specialized rehabilitation care
The committee includes representation from staff and management throughout the hospital. The group uses direct feedback from staff to make St. John’s Rehab the ideal home for a healthcare career.
Every March, St. John's Rehab hosts the Annual Awards ceremony to recognize employees who have gone above and beyond. In June, staff celebrate employee appreciation week with a variety of fun activities, including a staff barbecue.
