Burn Rehabilitation Admission Criteria
Inpatient Admission Criteria 
- Medically stable, motivated to participated in rehab, and has active goals.
- Has adequate cognitive communications abilities for rehab.
- Patient with a psychiatric history must be well-managed.
- Has a predetermined discharge destination.
Special needs accomodated (on a case-by-case basis) include the following: IV therapy; intermittent oxygen therapy; tracheotomy (must be corked); tube feeds.
Outpatient Admission Criteria
- Motivated to participate in rehab.
- Has adequate cognitive communication abilities for rehab.
- Tolerates increasing amounts of therapy.
- Has identified goals for functional improvement in mobility, ADLs or IADLs.
- Is independent with toileting.
- Has a reliable means of transportation.
- Has a completed fluoroscopy (where applicable.)
