Cardiac Rehabilitation Admission Criteria
Inpatient Admission Criteria 
- Medically stable, motivated to participate in rehab, and has active goals.
- Has adequate cognitive communications abilities for rehab.
- Patient with psychiatric history must be well-managed.
- May require assistance with transfers and daily self-care.
- Tolerates active individual and group therapy.
- Requires at least a seven-day length of stay.
- Has a predetermined discharge destination.
Special needs accomodated (on a case-by-case basis) include the following: IV therapy; intermittent oxygen therapy; tracheotomy (must be corked); tube feeds.
